The School Holidays are
with us yet again. While we love having our children
home with weeks of unstructured and unproductive time,
it can sometimes be frustrating.
This program finds ways to give the children a
structured basketball fitness program on Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday from 9am to Noon.
Included in the program will be the imparting of life
skills, mentorship and improving of basketball skills. |

Calling out all Avengers
lovers, come support a charity quiz night.
Faraja is a charitable trust registered in Nairobi and
Eldoret that offers free services to cancer patients and
their caregivers. Services include Information,
Complementary therapies, Support Group, Medical Support
and Art and Music Therapy for children at KNH.
To support our free services, we host an annual white
water rafting event at Sagana. This year, it will be on
21st, 22nd and 23rd of June at Savage Wilderness Camp.

Development Goals are the global agenda that the United
Nations together with the countries of the world have
given each other until 2030. Goal number 8 focusses on
Decent Work and Economic Growth for all.
During our Talk & Tour Event, we want to focus on two of
the sub targets:
1. By 2030, achieve full and productive employment and
decent work for all women and men, including for young
people and persons with disabilities, and equal pay for
work of equal value
2. By 2020, substantially reduce the proportion of youth
not in employment, education or training
Is it possible to achieve employment for all in Kenya?
How can we make sure that especially our youth finds
employment at the end of their education? You are
invited to discuss with us! The International Labour
Organization and the United Nations Visitors Service
invite you to a talk on the topic “Employment for all
– (how) is it possible?” and a subsequent tour
through the UN Complex where we explain the history,
