Wasp & Sprout
Loresho
Dagoz Presents Dis N Dat |
|

This Friday at Wasp and
Sprout Loresho I would like you to welcome Dis n’Dat
Band. Nairobi’s most electrifying mix of blues, soul,
and rhythm & blues - with a touch of "this and that".
Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Terrence (Canada, with
Caribbean roots), the group blends global influences
with raw Kenyan energy, creating an authentic live
experience that’s as soulful as it is unforgettable.
Formed in Nairobi, the band is a true melting pot:
Laurent (France) on guitar, Charlie (Kenya) on bass,
Leon (Kenya) on saxophone, and Shem (Kenya) on drums.
Together, they bring international flavors into the
heart of East Africa’s live music scene. Dis n’Dat Band
is not about polished studio tracks - it’s about the
energy of the stage. From smoky blues licks to soulful
ballads, from funky grooves to dance-floor-shaking R&B,
they have become a crowd favorite in Nairobi’s pubs,
venues, and live music bars. |

living, breathing soundscape in real time. We are
curating an experience that will exist in the room on
the day and will live on through this recording forever.

Suave Kitchen and
Social Club Language Barrier with
Maina Munene |
|

Language Barrier is a stand-up
comedy show by Maina Munene about a simple, frustrating
truth: we’re all speaking the same language and yet somehow
still missing each other. It looks at everyday life;
conversations at home, arguments online, relationships and
finds the humor in how we talk, assume, and completely
misunderstand one another. Most of us are going through the
exact same things, we just think we’re different. It’s sharp,
honest, and relatable. You’ll laugh at people who don’t
sound like you, then slowly realize… they’re describing your
life. At the end of it all, Language Barrier isn’t really
about language, it’s about listening. |
