FantastiKE, by the Nairobi Orchestra, brings together
two phenomenal Kenyan soloists and a monumental symphony
in 5 movements. Nanjala Antonia will grace the stage
with Haydn?s Piano Concerto in D Major while Judah
Onesimus will shine in the B?hme Trumpet Concerto. The
second half of the program takes you on a trip to the
innermost part of a young genius' soul in the midst of
unachievable ambition; the quest for true love. The
composer, Hector Berlioz, wrote his Symphonie
Fantastique in his early 20s in 1830 and created a
spectacular work that resounds to this day. |
